The Challenge
Creating a digital home for an artist with a deep analog soul posed a special kind of challenge. Corry
Zaagsma didn’t need a loud, flashy portfolio site—but rather a quiet space that reflects the softness and
depth of her paintings. With a limited budget and a clear preference for simplicity, we needed to craft a
minimalist website that felt personal, timeless, and easy to manage—while also being responsive, secure,
and future-proof.
Our Approach
Our focus was on simplicity, elegance, and functionality. We began with deep listening—understanding
Corry’s vision, her rhythm, and what she wanted her visitors to experience. Based on that, we designed a
lightweight, distraction-free website using WordPress on a shared Swiss-based hosting plan.
We kept the navigation simple, the layout calm, and the palette clean—allowing the paintings to breathe.
Typography and spacing were fine-tuned to evoke a sense of quiet attention. Every element on the page
exists to support the art—not to distract from it.
